I started using “he” pretty exclusively earlier this year, but I am ridiculously understanding and dismissive of people slipping up, accidentally or otherwise. I personally always tell people getting the hang of it that “they” is always safe, and it tends to be a rule among my other trans friends, as well, although I’m sure tumblr would disagree. I realize I still appear nearly wholly female and that’s a thing I’m sort of dealing with privately, but I appreciate your courtesy. Also, thank you very much.

@dahmdaddi and I went to the Museum of Death together to celebrate two years of being deplorable enough to maintain a strange and complex friendship we started here in the true crime community. They do not allow pictures inside, and as the admission is a fat $17 a person plus $10 for parking (gotta love Hollywood, amirite?), I wasn’t eager to get kicked out. Definitely worth it if you’re into true crime, as it’s certainly the main focal point of the place, but there’s some interesting historical and cultural bits, some gore, and anatomical facts.

Yo, I’m not dead. I’ve been grinding my way through senior year at uni, traveling & cosplaying, and am in the beginning stages of “talking to” someone for the first time in years. I’m also visiting @dahmdaddi in about 5 days for Halloween/my birthday, and we’ll be taking a trip to the Museum of Death while I’m in LA for Comic Con, and I know photos aren’t allowed inside, but I’ll definitely make a post on what I see there and just for the hell of it. Still very much invested in true crime, Dahmer, Cunanan, and the like, and of course forensic psych, just not as invested in constantly correcting misinformation, editing the shit out of lengthy informative posts, and feeling guilty about neglecting 70+ asks while trying to maintain two jobs, an internship, a plump GPA, a series of decent friendships, and a potential relationship. I’m around, though. If you wanna keep better in touch, my ig @ is in my bio. ;]
